Environment XI R 3.1 SP 4

Cause:
The problem is due to the missing  access rights to the universe for a specific user 

Solution:

We solved this issue by giving to the user  the right to access to related Universes !

    Hi,
    you have to access to CMC , Universes and give at least 'View on demand' access to the users group to universes you need to access.

    Check what the source they have on the reports. IF its excel, open the report and reconnect to the excel, it works like charm. Just now tested it and it worked

    We already have access to the reports and the universe but this error appears when we deployed our reports from Development to the test environment.So any clues why this error is coming?

    Hi,
    check users rights on the universe probably they are different in production environment vs development one.

    We have the same issue.
    When we copy the report webI on local by Rich Client from lower environment, and login in upper environment, the link between the report and the universe is lost (even that the universe existing) and we have this error. we need manually reconnect the universe by the rich client (option not existing on Infoview) and go to data--> tools--> change sources.

    It seems a bug.
